Needy Family Project - 25/8/2024 Mdm Gan & Family

25/8/2024 Needy Family Project - Mdm Gan & Family

Assisting needy families has been one of our signature projects. One of the families is Mdm Gan. She has to shoulder the responsibility of caring for her elderly mother and two school-age children on a limited income. Mdm Gan and her family share a 3-room flat with her brother.

The club hopes that more generous donors can help support Mdm Gan's family in improving their living conditions. In the meantime, LCGTM has provided additional assistance to her family through contributions of groceries from the public.

HUNGER RELIEF PROJECT 14//8/2024

On August 14, 2024, LCGTM's monthly Hunger Relief project continued at the Dewan MPKK Padang Tembak, starting at 4:30 pm.

The Lions started the project by leading the residents in a lively light aerobic exercise. This created an atmosphere of fun, as the elderly participants enthusiastically tried to keep up with the steps and movements.  We can see that the residents greatly enjoyed such activities, which helped foster a sense of community in the Rifle Range neighborhood.

After the 20-minute dance session, the Lions distributed 70 meal boxes to the local residents in need. However, the interaction did not end there. The Lions also took the time to have conversational sessions with the recipients, making it a more meaningful and personalized experience.

Lions-In-Attendance: PP Samantha, IPP Joyce Cheah, CP Danny Lim, Lion Cindy Chew, Lion Lucia Teoh.
