“2-in-1 Project” – Vision Bus Fundraising & Environmental Awareness.

Project Overview

We are launching a “2-in-1 project” to raise funds for the Vision Bus while promoting environmental awareness. This initiative combines our Vision Project with the Environmental Project, under the leadership of Datuk Cheng (LC Alor Star Host) and with our Club (Lions Club George Town Mutiara) as the Organizing Club.

Compostable Bags Initiative

• Partner: Earthya – Zaneco (our environment project sponsor)
• Product: 100% compostable bags (zero plastic, soil-friendly, turns into natural minerals absorbed by plants)
• Market price: RM1.90 per packet (5 bags)
• Special cost to us: RM1.50 per packet
• Fundraising price: RM2.50 per packet (RM1.50 cost + RM1.00 donation)

Sponsorship Packages

• Silver Sponsor: 300 packets → RM750
• Gold Sponsor: 600 packets → RM1,500
• Platinum Sponsor: 1,000 packets → RM2,500

Usage of Compostable Bags

• Environmental Project Week: Launch during LCI’s designated week to qualify for Excellent Club recognition.
• Member Sales: Distribute among members to spread awareness and raise funds.
• School/Public Talks: Give away as goodies during environmental awareness programs. Sponsors are welcome to join.
• Club Promotion: Sponsor logos printed on packets (Platinum = large, Gold = medium, Silver = small).
• Event Goodies: Use as door gifts during club anniversaries or celebrations.

Terms & Timeline

• Minimum order: 5,000 packets (to enable printing/packaging).
• Delivery timeline: 1 month.
• Target launch: April (LCI Environmental Awareness Week).
• All funds raised will be donated to the Vision Bus Project.
• Open to all Lions Clubs and companies for participation.

• LC Penang Host: 1 Platinum Sponsorship (1,000 packets)
