The Lions Clubs on Penang Island made a significant impact during the global "Hunger Week of Service". A total of 21 Lions Clubs participated in the 'Penang Lions Clubs Joint Hunger Relief Project' on January 3, 2026. The project theme was "Meals of Joy, Bags of Love."
Besides distributing 300 hot meal boxes, the program featured a heart health talk presented by doctors from Pantai Hospital Penang (PHP) and a demonstration of CPR and AED conducted by PHP and the Malaysian Red Crescent.
Project OC from our club, PP Samantha said that this event fostered positive change and made a difference in the Rifle Range communities, garnering substantial publicity for the efforts of the Lions.
